VACAVILLE – PEP Housing, in partnership with EAH Housing, is celebrating its groundbreaking event for the 60-unit affordable senior housing project located at 220 Aegean Way in Vacaville, on July 1.
The project will provide 59 much-needed, one-bedroom units for seniors with low- and very-low-incomes, including 15 units set aside for seniors experiencing homelessness, and one two-bedroom unit for a property manager.
The GreenPoint certified buildings include a photovoltaic system, community room with full kitchen, computer room, exercise room, raised community garden beds, large dog run and a wellness center where residents can meet with health care professionals on site. All PEP properties provide supportive services to residents, with a resident services coordinator facilitating health and educational classes on site and connecting residents to services and resources available in the community. Lutheran Social Services of Northern California will be the lead supportive services provider, providing case management to residents in need.
