In April, an 8-week-old baby was unresponsive and not breathing when Fairfield Police, Fairfield Fire and Medic Ambulance crews provided lifesaving aid.

On Friday, many of the first responders were reunited with the child, who reportedly has had a full recovery.

Back in early April, Officer Jerriod Mack was the first to arrive on scene and began CPR on the infant, Jordynn. Paramedics with Fairfield Fire and a Medic Ambulance crew took over her care upon their arrival and subsequently rushed her to a hospital.

On Friday, Jordynn’s family brought the baby to meet her rescuers.

“As you can see she brings a smile to our faces,.” wrote Fairfield police officials in a Facebook post.
