FAIRFIELD — It has not completely been about Covid-19 at Solano County hospitals in recent months.
In fact, the majority of respiratory cases have been from causes other than the novel coronavirus, the county Public Health Division has reported.
However, there have been some services that have not been offered, or have been reduced. But just as the rest of the county begins to shift back to some level of normalcy, the health care groups also are beginning to expand the kind of “normal” services they offer.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has taught us a lot and reinforces that our health is precious. We need to do everything we can to protect it,” Trina White, chief executive officer for Sutter Valley Medical Foundation, Central Valley, said in a statement. “As we begin our phased approach to reopening, we encourage people to take advantage of the summer months to focus on preventive services to promote their best health now.”
