FAIRFIELD — Bring on the parade.
The city plans a Fourth of July parade this year on Independence Day. The 2020 parade was canceled due to Covid-19.
This year’s theme is “Reigniting Community” – with emphasis on unity.
In addition to the traditional parade at 10 a.m. in downtown Fairfield, a variety of activities will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the county lawn at Jefferson and Texas streets.
