SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Music Circus in Sacramento is on hold for now because of the coronavirus pandemic. Tuesday, however, they will be in the national spotlight.
The theater company is receiving an award for making shows inclusive for everyone.
Broadway Sacramento will get national recognition because they have made it possible for those in the blind community to experience a show for the past decade.
Every show the theater company produces has an audio description. It means guests who can’t see or have low vision get the spoken narration through an earpiece.
