SOLANO COUNTY, CA —Following reports about California homeowners receiving unsolicited shipments of plant seeds from China, Solano County’s agricultural commissioner Tuesday urged any Solano County residents who may have received the seeds to contact the county.

“Seed packets should not be opened, shipped or disposed of by residents to prevent a potential dispersal of invasive plants or quarantine pests,” said Solano County Agricultural Commissioner Ed King.
