FAIRFIELD — Solano County supervisors this week approved nine priority issues to focus on in their state legislative platform and six more in the federal platform.
The platforms define the issues of greatest concerns to the county, whether to voice its support or to rally in opposition.
There are additional issues that range from agriculture, water and natural resources; to human services; to general government; and to public safety and emergency response.
“California’s actions continue to greatly impact the county’s ability to provide vital services to the public. To fulfill the county’s commitment to the community, additional state resources should be sought to support the county’s mission to enrich the quality of life locally,” the state platform document states.
