CHP officer saves choking baby on I-80 in Solano County
FAIRFIELD, Calif. — A California Highway Patrol officer was able to save a choking baby on Interstate 80 in the Fairfield area, authorities say.
Officers responded to a medical emergency call along I-80 near Red Top Road on Saturday evening. When they got there, one of the officers was handed a baby who was not breathing and unresponsive, CHP said in a news release Tuesday.
