The Vacaville City Council unanimously voted to approve the first reading of an ordinance for a development agreement for a mixed-use development behind the Lucky Supermarket on Peabody Road at its Tuesday meeting.
The project, being put forth by the limited liability company Gaspare Alamo 1, consists of a residential portion with 14 three-story townhomes, a clubhouse and various amenities, approximately 6,500 square feet of commercial space and a 3.15-acre detention basin that could eventually be transformed into a new development.
All components would be located on a 9.35-acre parcel along Alamo Drive and across from Raleigh Drive. It would also extend Beech Lane into a new public road and restrict left turns out of Raleigh onto Alamo.
City Planner Peyman Behvand was very enthusiastic about the project when delivering his presentation.
