VACAVILLE — A proposed Oak Grove low-income apartment project on the corner of Orchard Avenue and West Monte Vista Avenue continues to be unpopular with its potential neighbors.
The City Council voted Tuesday to explore alternate sites while also keeping the current location in play with some downsized modifications.
That decision passed 4-2 with Councilmen Gregory Ritchie II and Roy Stockton dissenting. Mayor Ron Rowlett recused himself over any potential conflicts of interest with this project.
