VALLEJO — A united City Council this week reinstated its mask mandate for indoor public places.
“Regardless of vaccination status, residents, workers and visitors must wear masks (face coverings) while indoors or in enclosed public spaces in the city of Vallejo,” a statement released by the city said.
The council action was taken during a special meeting Tuesday and follows the Benicia council’s action for the same mandate in that city Aug. 24.
Vallejo noted that the counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sonoma and the city of Berkeley have enacted mask mandates as well.
