VACAVILLE — The Ulatis Community Center was inundated Saturday with stormtroopers, anime characters and even a vampire or two for the second Vaca-Con.
“This is a celebration of all things pop culture,” said Elizabeth Crisante, Parks and Recreation supervisor. “This surpassed what we did last year.”
As the crowded center could attest, they had roughly 2,000 to 3,000 people out for the one-day event. They had about 1,800 people last year.
